Welcome to ADULT AND COMMUNITY EDUCATION based at Hamilton’s Fraser High School.
On our site you can view, enroll and pay for classes.
We hope that you will find our wide range of courses informative, interesting and enjoyable.
Many courses run for eight weeks, while others run for shorter periods, and some are held at weekends.
We coordinate courses for most of Hamilton through our office at Hamilton’s Fraser High School. Most classes are held on the school campus in our well equipped environment, but others are held at other schools or community spaces.
Please check your enrolment carefully and make yourself aware of the general terms and conditions that apply.
Some courses book out very quickly, so don’t delay … learn something new today.
Government Supported Places on Courses (gs*)
From the beginning of 2010 the Government priorities for Adult and Community Education (ACE) are to encourage new learners, (specifically Maori, Pacifika and those who feel their initial learning was not successful) to re-engage with their learning and improve numeracy and literacy skills.
Some of our courses offer these learners the opportunity to learn at reduced cost. Students who take advantage of this opportunity will have to undertake to complete at least 80% of the course. If you think you fit into one of these categories please complete the appropriate enrolment form. A small bond will be required which is refundable if you complete the course. If you need more advice than call us on 07 847 1074.
Government supported courses are denoted by (*gs).
