Science courses at Year 9 have been developed from the document "The New Zealand Curriculum", and are pitched at level 4 and 5. Students take 3 periods of science each week. With the exception of the top 2 classes, a common curriculum is followed. Year 9 Science is a pre-requisite for Year 10 Science.
