ENROL NOW FOR TERM 2 2020
Tutor Josh Easby
Everyone has a book in them, or so the saying goes. But few writers actually manage to get their work published. Find out how to get your book published in the workshop led by experienced author, editor and publisher Josh Easby.
Whether you've been toiling on that much-loved family history, a favourite recipe book, children's book or the great New Zealand novel, this workshop will help you decide how best to see it turned into a finished book.
This workshop reveals how and why publishers choose which books to get behind, and why they reject most manuscripts sent to them. You'll learn how to optimise your chances of publication, as well as understanding how to self-publish.
By the end of a stimulating day you'll know what you have to do to turn your manuscript into a published book.
This course is supported by the TEC (Tertiary Education Commission) to assist with literacy and numeracy needs of students. You must attend 80% of the class. At the same time we hope you will learn other useful and interesting skills and have a lot of fun learning with us.
