Pilates Mat Class
Bring a yoga mat and a water bottle
Pilates Method was created by Joseph Pilates in Germany. He said “ In 8 sessions you’ll feel the deference, in 20 you’ll see the deference, in 30 you’ll have a whole new body”.
The movements lengthen and strengthen our muscles.
Try the class and use muscles you didn’t know you had. Any fitness level, age group and ability welcome. Improve your posture and balance. Develop your core strength and joint mobility. Learn the correct breathing technique and feel energized.
Teacher/ Masako Furniss
I’m Japanese. I like dancing, walking, and gardening. I completed a Pilates Mat Work Teacher Training course in 2011 and another Yoga, Pilates, Qi-gong course in 2013 in Auckland. I have been teaching for 6 years. My clients are between 20’s and up to mid 70’s. I love seeing people’s big smiles after the class.
