This practical course is for people interested in learning great techniques to help them achieve their goals and their dreams.
“A goal without a timeline is just a dream.”
Robert Herjavic (entrepreneur)
Together we will start by learning a fun and interactive skill – using Visionboards (or Mood boards) - to set our goals and dreams in front of us in an inspirational way. This is the first step to achieving a goal – making the goal (or dream) tangible.
“A goal properly set is halfway reached.”
Zig Ziglar (author)
Achieving our goals happens when each of us chooses to do something different and take action. Each step we take, no matter how big or small, can make a difference – this course will show you why this works and will truly inspire you.
“If you don’t know where you are going, you’ll end up someplace else.”
Yogi Berra (Baseball)
Goals give us hope. Goals can be big or small. Goals are personal to us - they can be anything:
- whether you wish to be able to read a book each week or fly to the moon.
- Do 2 push-ups or 100
- Make new friends or start a new relationship
- Love your current job more or find a new one
- Learn a new skill or find happiness
We all know goals are achievable but sometimes we need help – let’s learn a new way to set your goals in motion.
Each week we will explore different ways that tools like Vision Boards, Journaling and mind mapping can help make changes in people’s lives.
"The key to realizing a dream is to focus not on success but on significance - and then even the small steps and little victories along your path will take on greater meaning." Oprah
Join us on a relaxed, interactive course that will show you how to have fun as you plan a life you have been dreaming about.
About your Tutor:
Gleniss Kehely has been passionate about Vision Boards for years and has shared this tool with many friends and family. 2019 saw the development of The Vision Board Business after being asked to facilitate several workshops. With a background in Kitchen Design, along with being a SVH Practitioner and Life Coach (on the side), she loves to see people achieve their dreams. “It’s all about perspective” she says, “look at things differently and they are”.
This course is supported by the TEC (Tertiary Education Commission) to assist with literacy and numeracy needs of students. You must attend 80% of the class. At the same time we hope you will learn other useful and interesting skills and have a lot of fun learning with us.
