TUTOR: Gaye Jurisich
"Water colour for investigators" develop your passion using water colour. Find out ways to extend your craft with new and sometimes experimental ideas.
This is a class where your drawing and painting skills can be developed for those who want to learn a little more. Focusing on drawing and watercolour. Laughs and creativity included.
Students will continue to explore how drawing works with various materials, adding in water colour and mixed media materials. Learn how to become self-driven, as we explore various still life settings.
Participants will gain confidence as they work and be encouraged to share in, and critique their own works and others in the class. We will also participate in discussions about the history of drawing and look at contemporary drawing practice.
My own art practice relies heavily on the art of drawing, in traditional ways with painting, printmaking, contemporary installation and sculpture. I am a full time artists with a regular exhibition schedule, throughout NZ and abroad.
