Who am I? Why do I love books so much? Whilst studying my Art and Science degrees I discovered a need to create my own custom journals that could be used for the diverse mediums and disciplines I was working in. I’m now all grown up, sort of, and work as both an artist and an engineer, and own a company that creates custom journals and portfolios for artists and creative thinkers. As a bibliophile my passion for book binding is not just limited to journals but encompasses the traditional arts such as leather work, embossing, gilding and fore edge art which I will always be happy to share with you. You can check out some of the books and portfolios we make on Instagram and Facebook @lalchimista.art
