The Science Faculty at Fraser High School is one of the largest faculties in the school operating out of 14 laboratories. This includes specialist classrooms for Electronics and Horticulture /Agriculture, which also includes greenhouses, sheds and gardens.

We offer a range of courses to cater for a variety of interests, ability levels and career pathways. We endeavour to instil in our students an enjoyment of Science and an appreciation of what it offers to them and how it contributes to society as a whole.

As well as the teaching of science from Years 9 to 13, there are options available in Electronics, Agriculture, Horticulture, Floriculture, Environmental Studies, and at a senior level in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Earth and Space Science. Our senior courses are designed for students to gain qualifications under NCEA.
